Part-time Librarian: 6.5 hours per week
Located at St Columba Church Hall, Grey Lynn
Are you looking for an interesting part-time opportunity that will put you right in the heart of the community, interacting with parents and children, taking charge of an exciting community service and using your computer skills.
The Open Toy Box is a not for profit organisation running the Grey Lynn Toy Library every Wednesday 9am to 12pm and Saturday 9am to 12.30pm between February and November (excluding public holidays).
We are seeking a Librarian to run two toy-library sessions, which will involve:
- Administering the toy-library computer by processing issues and returns
- Assisting members with enquiries and enrolments
- Taking payments and doing the weekly banking
- Overseeing and managing volunteers
Applicants ideally need to be available for both toy library sessions from February to November but we will consider applications for just one session. Applicants will ideally live in the Western Bays area and have a car as they will be required to pick up toy-library resources for each session.
